The Type-N Robot is a type of robot that appears in the Neon Genesis Evangelion: ANIMA novels.

Profile

There are 3 total Type-N Robots, each being assigned to each Rei, being Rei Quatre, Rei Cinq and Rei Six. They worked as brain monitoring robots, and can maintain communications with each other, acting as a group.

History

Neon Genesis Evangelion: ANIMA

After Rei Quatre went rogue and Rei Cinq sacrificed herself, the two robots formally assigned to them follow the one assigned to Rei Six. When the group encounters Azuchi, one of the dogs of Liteunant Colonel Kasuga, they act in fear, hiding behind Six as she pets it. As Kasuga talks with her, they play rock-paper-scissors in order to decide priority of who would get to go fishing with Kasuga's rod. When Toji sends Six away in the Evangelion Unit-00 Type F, the robots follows her too, despite this being unusual. ^[1]

One that was flicked into space would later be find by Rei Six in the stratosphere.^[2]
